Hamilton Festival Theatre Company (HFTco) produces activities throughout the year including the flagship Hamilton Fringe Festival, the community-embedded winter festival Frost Bites, the ALERT education initiative (Artistic Leadership and Entrepreneurial Training Program), and other year-round events, workshops, and programming.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Volunteer Coordinator will focus on strengthening ties to the local community, broadening the diversity of our growing volunteer base, and encouraging participation in the cultural activities produced by the Hamilton Fringe. The Volunteer Coordinator will develop skills in clear, empathetic, effective communication as the key liaison for all volunteers and community partners during the summer months.

HFTco is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, energetic Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Front of House Manager and Managing Director, this individual will be a core part of the team that supervises and coordinates all Front of House and Box Office operations for the 2026 Hamilton Fringe Festival. This role has dynamic scheduling, the Assistant Front of House Manager will work more hours during the festival dates (July 15-26, 2026) and fewer hours at the beginning of the contract, in consultation with supervisors. Some evenings and weekends required. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are a strong asset.

Hamilton Festival Theatre Company (HFTco) is currently seeking Theatre Technicians for 6-week contract positions within the Hamilton Fringe Festival’s Production Department. Reporting to the Technical Director, this position will oversee the implementation of seven Hamilton Fringe Festival productions in a specific venue. This position will require evening and weekend hours.

Hamilton Fringe Festival is currently seeking multiple Venue Captains for paid positions beginning July 16, with some training and venue orientation sessions to be scheduled in late
June / early July. Reporting to the Front of House Manager and the Box Office Management team, these individuals will supervise and coordinate all Front-of-House and Box Office
procedures onsite at one or more of our 2025 Hamilton Fringe Festival venues.
