Hamilton Festival Theatre Company (HFTco) produces activities throughout the year including the flagship Hamilton Fringe Festival, the community-embedded winter festival Frost Bites, the ALERT education initiative (Artistic Leadership and Entrepreneurial Training Program), and Hamilton’s theatre awards The Gilded Hammers.

Hamilton Festival Theatre Company (HFTco) is currently seeking Venue Captains for paid positions beginning July 20th, with some training and venue orientation sessions to be scheduled in late June / early July. Reporting to the Box Office Managers, these individuals will supervise and coordinate all Front-of-House, COVID-19 Protocol Oversight, and Box Office procedures onsite at one (1) of the twelve (12) 2022 Hamilton Fringe Festival venues.
STILL HIRING: FRINGE CLUB BARTENDERS

Hamilton Festival Theatre Company (HFTco) is currently seeking Bartenders for shifts at the Fringe Club located at 190 King William Street (outside Theatre Aquarius). The Fringe Club runs throughout the Hamilton Fringe Festival Position July 20-31.
The position pays $15/hr plus gratuities.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Confidently enacting SmartServe best practices (ex. checking IDs, refusing
- service to intoxicated patrons, etc.)
- Attend to customers who approach the Licensed Fringe Club Patio Bar.
- Take drink and snack orders in a knowledgeable manner.
- Process cash/debit/credit payments.
- Maintain a clean and safe bar environment (regular sanitization).
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons being served.
- Complete daily reconciliations.
- Inventory maintenance and reporting.
- Some heavy lifting required.
- SmartServe certification required.

HFTco’s Hamilton Fringe is looking for a driven, community-minded, collaborative Fringe Club Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Executive Director, and supported and supervised by core festival staff, the successful applicant will be responsible for the artistic programming coordination and onsite logistics of a large-scale public outdoor activation––the Fringe Club at Theatre Aquarius. They will also be a key member of our onsite Festival Team.
