Partnership Opportunities

We offer many sponsorship opportunities as part of our ongoing festivals, artist development programming,  and events!

HFTco is keen to design partnerships that provide reciprocal benefits—meeting the needs of both the sponsor and our audience members. We are excited to present partnership opportunities meant to build meaningful connections with our audiences and support the development of excellence within the theatre community through our festivals, artist development programs, and events.

Our partnerships offer a range of benefits including:

  • Complimentary tickets and experiences
  • Brand recognition to increase your profile with HFTco audiences, through placement in programs, posters, advertisements, social media channels, website, and onsite signage and activations
  • Naming rights to different programming elements
  • Access and exposure to a very valuable public audience through experiential marketing
  • Customized sponsorship opportunities that fit your company’s goals and needs!

For more information about partnerships opportunities, please contact Development Coordinator Grace Lamarch at development@hftco.ca

Artist Development Programs

HFTco’s Artist Development programming is expanding to support a broader continuum of development for local performing artists and producers. In a city with a growing population of established mid-career professionals and a surging culture of young theatre makers, the Spark and ALERT programs provide a crucial service at a pivotal moment. Our Artistic Development programs equip the next generation of theatre artists and engage them in an exploration of contemporary production practice.

Frost Bites

Frost Bites is a community-embedded winter performance festival. Six (6) national and local companies create work developed through a community-based theatre residency, pairing activists and artists in a shared exploration of a single theme. The festival will present shows in rep over one week, with ancillary community conversations, family programming, meals, workshops, and panels.
