@ Hamilton Fringe
Visual Fringe is a unique opportunity for local visual artists
to exhibit their work across downtown Hamilton for the month of July
Part of our ancillary Fringe Club programming, Visual Fringe is a city-wide exhibit of visual arts. In true Fringe Festival spirit, our Visual Fringe artists are chosen randomly via lottery–a system that gives every applicant an equal opportunity to take part. Exhibits can be seen across the city at our three Visual Fringe partners:
Redchurch Cafe + Gallery (68 King St E)
Relay Coffee (27 King William St)
Vintage Coffee Roasters (977 King St E)
2023 Visual Fringe applications are NOW OPEN! Full program details and dates available at the application page below. Apply before May 18th to be part of the lottery.
Artists do not need to have completed pieces in order to apply, completed pieces must be ready for public display by June 30th at the latest. The Hamilton Fringe Festival does not curate the pieces or provide any editorial feedback; however, artists looking for inspiration can consider this year’s invitation: “Come One, Come All!”
This year’s exhibit runs from July 7th to 31st and features work from the following artists: Devin Bateson, Laura Heaney, Rose Hopkins, Patrick Cudmore, Craig Aarts, Keeping Six Collective, Elaine Lauzon, Max Makes Art, Mohammad Mirzadabbagh, Lisa Pijuan-Nomura, David Rayfield, and Susan Robinson.
