Lantern-making workshops by renowned community arts company Shadowland Theatre. Participants will be guided through creating oiled paper lanterns using their own designs— then come on back for the moving and magical Procession of Light Sunday at 6pm!
Anne Barber is co-artistic director of Shadowland Theatre. She focuses on community engagement through the arts, and performances in public spaces where all are welcome. With a passion for shadow puppetry and lantern-making, Anne aims to bring light into the dark, and delight into the lives of community participants.
This workshop/event is FREE and NO TICKET IS REQUIRED. All workshops and events are offered on a drop-in, first-come first-served basis. Space may be limited.
