Benchmarks is a spoken word poetry performance that explores intergenerational dialogue, cultural navigation, and immigrant identities. Through layered storytelling and embodied language, the work examines inherited values, shifting expectations, and the quiet negotiations between past and present, creating space for reflection on belonging, memory, and self-definition across generations. Fareh Malik and guest poets will come together and create dialogue using spoken word poetry.
