Inside the venue is fully level with no additional steps. The emergency exit includes three steps. There is one gender-neutral washroom on-site. There is no wheelchair-accessible washroom available in Elaine Mae, but one is available nearby at The Staircase. A changing table is not available. For guests requiring wheelchair access to The Staircase, staff can open the rear entrance if it is not already in use. On-site staff are happy to assist with this process.

Location & Parking Notes

Elaine Mae is The Staircase’s sister event venue, located on the same property. It’s a small white building featuring a large bird mural when viewed from King Street West, and sits beside The Staircase café, Studio Theatre, and Bright Room. Please note that these buildings are not physically connected, and travel between them requires moving around the perimeter of the property. Entrance to Elaine Mae is via a gravel path, followed by three steps into the building.
