It's 1834 aboard the HMS Beagle. The menu is tacos. Sailing somewhere between empire and paradise, the Captain surveys, Charles Darwin devours, and the Last Great Auk runs out of time. Never you mind the weaving Spider, bouncing Cricket, or munching Gorilla. Tacos & Extinction is a surreal existential tragicomedy that blends the mythic, historic, and anthropomorphic into a vivid meditation on the Web of Life. Just one question: is this boat sinking?
