In 2022, a series of anxiety attacks required me to take a mental health leave from my work. Unexpectedly, it also prompted an obsessive re-evaluation of the synth-pop music of my youth. Did New Wave provide me the tools I needed to repair myself and grow as person? Maybe it did. Will I demonstrate these tools through story, music, and dancing? You bet your drum machine I will.
