Gnomes: a Traumatic Comedy is about gnomes. It may also be about a brother and sister navigating the covid-19 pandemic, exploring themes of family and friendship, traumatic events (both personal and global), the nature of art (and the potential to both heal and harm through artistic practice), gender-based violence, compassion fatigue and mental illness. But, to be clear, it is mostly about gnomes.
