After a record-breaking 2025, we’re back with the 22nd Hamilton Fringe! Once again, Fringe artists are activating 16+ stages all across town.
As a leader in the performing arts sector that responds to the changing culture of Hamilton, HFTco builds a community for artists and cultivates work that is accessible, innovative, and artistically adventurous.
Artist Opportunities
Apply to the ALERT 2027 Producer-in-Training Program
The ALERT program is a professional development program designed for early career artistic leaders who want to help define the theatre culture in Hamilton. Participants take part in workshops with arts professionals, mentors, and hands-on experience with a Hamilton Fringe production. Applications close November 2
Apply to the OAC Recommender Grants for Theatre Creators Program
Supported by the Ontario Arts Council, the Recommender Grants for Theatre Creators Program enables arts organizations to directly invest in the creative process of artists throughout the province. Applications close November 30 at 1PM.
Land, Place, Home is returning this Fall!
We're bringing back this free workshop series! No previous artistic experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to create alongside others. Participants will have the opportunity to develop original stories and, if they choose, perform as part of Frost Bites Festival 2027.
